In July of 2024, the Esquire Theater closed forever just shy of 100 years old, followed a few weeks later by the Chez Artiste leaving a cinematic legacy behind in Denver. These spaces were home to the arts, fostered community, and were a refuge for those seeking escapism through cinema. This website is a memorial to these spaces.

Thousands of old posters were rescued from the Esquire and are available to the public in exchange for a donation to local arts causes.
