Seeing “Black Dynamite” at the midnight show. Afterward, I wanted so hard that they were selling the blu-ray in the lobby so I could immediately rewatch it at home. Alas, they were not.

At a late night screening of Con Air, someone fell asleep early into the fill and snored throughout the rest of it. No one stopped him. Even after the movie was over and the crowd let out, this guy was still asleep and had slid down in his seat, wedging himself between the row in front of him and the floor.

My first visit to the Esquire was a midnight screening of Evil Dead with a friend. He’s an Evil Dead expert and he won the trivia and a copy of Bubba Ho-Tep on DVD.
